Our Vineyard

Rowanston’s rich red basalt soils with a climate of cold wet winters and warm dry summers are a perfect growing environment for slow ripening fruit, resulting in rich, full fruit flavoured wines.

The key to our wines begins in the vineyard with hand pruning, moisture monitoring, minimal use of chemicals and meticulous selection of ripe rich berries for winemaking.

All wines are handpicked and made using traditional techniques which include gentle crushing, open vat fermentation, méthode traditionnelle sparkling, and maturation in oak barrels.
