Our Family
We are a small team of passionate people who have gathered together to produce handcrafted wine using a mix of modern and traditional methods with a focus on sustainability and minimal mechanical intervention. We are Australian made, owned and operated vineyard and winery. Fraymond Lew leads the Rowanston team, working with Simon Glover who is a viticulturist and vineyard manager with 30 years of experience.
Our vigneron-winemaker Etienne Mangier, originally from the foothills of the French Jura region, graduated with a Masters in Oenology at ISARA Lyon. His vineyard and winemaking skills were planted during his time working in Sauternes, France, with his passion for winemaking taking him around the world before permanently immigrating to Australia in 2010. He has recently been awarded a position in the 2021 Top 50 Young Gun of Wine Awards.
We have a small number of additional team members who work in the vineyard, cellar door, and at the local farmers' markets.
