This website is operated by Rowanston Vines Pty Ltd ABN 49 632 275 088 trading as Rowanston On The Track and Rowanston Reserve. Available at rowanston.com and rowanston.myshopify.com Liquor License number 32605987.

Under Australian laws, alcohol can only be sold or supplied to persons aged 18 years or older. By placing an order with us, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. You agree that it is your responsibility to consume alcohol in accordance with the law and responsibly.

Purchases on this wine site

All pricing on our wine site is shown in Australian dollars (AUD). We only accept credit card payments online via Visa or Mastercard.

Any order (stand-alone or subscription based) placed through this wine site is an offer by you to purchase a particular product or products for the price notified (including the delivery and other charges and taxes) at the time you place your order.

It is your responsibility to check the order details, including selected products and pricing, before you submit your order through this site.

When you order and pay on the Site and your payment has been validated, we will provide you with order details, which may include an order number, an order ID, the delivery and billing addresses and a description of what was ordered.

We may, at our absolute discretion, accept or reject an order. We will endeavour to notify you of a rejection at the time of the order or within a reasonable time thereafter.

Rowanston wine returns and refund policy

Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. Should you experience any discrepancies with your wine order, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve.

We will replace or refund any wine product that arrives to you damaged.

If you have not received the correct order, reach out to us and we will make it right.

If you have had a change of mind, or decided you no longer want your wine order, simply return the wine to us and we can arrange a refund (less the cost of shipping and handling).

The best way to return wine to us is in person at our winery in Glenhope. Alternatively, you may post wine back to us via Australia Post or other delivery service. Any returns in the post or via any other delivery method will be at your own expense.

In the event your wine is delayed

Please check that the address details provided are correct.

Australia Post/Courier Services may have already attempted delivery without success, and the wine could be waiting for you at your local post office.

Please note - Rowanston is unable to resend any wine order if there is a record that it was successfully delivered and signed for at the address provided.

Your wine order may have been damaged while in transit with Australia Post/Courier Services (no fault of yours). In these circumstances, the wine is returned to Rowanston, and we reach out to you to arrange for the affected wine order to be resent or refunded.

In extremely rare circumstances your wine may be missing in action. Contact us directly for further investigation if (according to tracking notifications) the progress of your delivery has been unusually slow, or has come to a halt. We will endeavour to follow up with Australia Post/Courier Services on your behalf, and resend your wines if they have indeed been lost.

Shipping and Tracking (within Australia only)

When your wine leaves our winery and order is picked up by Australia Post/Courier Services for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes that of the purchaser.

Each parcel has its own consignment number, which can be used on the Australia Post website (https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search) and/or tracking provided by the assigned Courier Services to track your parcel and see its delivery progress.

Please consider the following advice in relation to Australia Post/Courier Services deliveries -

1. Calls cannot be made prior to delivery.

2. Wine cannot be left outside the boundary line of a property. 

3. 'Special Delivery Instructions' are a guide, it is not a guarantee that these instructions will be followed. Due to OH&S it is at the driver's discretion as to whether they deem the instructions safe to adhere to. 

4. If you are not in attendance when delivery is attempted, the consignment will be returned to your local Post Office or Courier Company. A card will be left in your letter box to advise of the attempted delivery and that the item can be collected from the Post Office. Australia Post/Courier Services will not re-deliver once an item has been carded awaiting collection.

5. Rowanston and Australia Post/Courier Services will not be held responsible for any missing goods when authority has been provided for your goods to be delivered without a signature.

6. Wine must be signed for by a person over 18 years of age at time of delivery.

Wine is a Delicate Commodity

Wine is a perishable commodity. Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment. Rowanston is not responsible for and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment.

Be careful with your Sparkling wine bottles. Store upright after delivery, and serve well chilled - take care when removing the cork. Rowanston is unable to replace lost bubbles due to eruption upon opening.

 

Wine Club terms and conditions

Rowanston wine club membership

By joining a Rowanston wine club, you are committing to purchase and receive a regular delivery of wine (12+ or 24+ bottles) per calendar year and managing your own account details and preferences via the Rowanston website.

Product pricing is per bottle. An active wine club member must be logged into the Rowanston online shop to select their own choice of wine and check out cart using the personalised Members Discount Code. Discounts will vary on wine depending on the wine club you have joined – "Two+" get 5% off wine, "Sixes'" members get 10% of wine, and "Twelves'" members get 15% off wine.

All wine product and shipping prices, as well as the configuration of the wine clubs and associated benefits are subject to change at any time. Rowanston will provide reasonable notice of changes in writing to active members.

Rowanston wine club members are automatically subscribed to receive periodic e-newsletters containing Rowanston news, offers and events information. You can unsubscribe at any time, but we recommend you stay connected to get the most value out of your membership.

Please add our email to your contacts so we do not end up lost in your promotional or junk email folders.

Active Membership

Offers and discounts associated with membership can only be redeemed or honoured upon verification with staff on site that you are an active wine club member. A member is not active if they are on hold, have suspended membership, or opted to skip a delivery.

Shipping

Rowanston charges shipping per parcel. This applies for all wine club and website orders.

$10 per parcel for delivery to Metro Melbourne addresses.

$20 per parcel for delivery to Victorian addresses.

$25 per parcel to all other Australian states.

A parcel is considered 1-12 bottles of wine. Ideal shipping quantities are multiples of 6 or 12 bottles.

Unfortunately, our wine clubs are not available to customers outside of Australia.

Free Pick-Up

To avoid shipping fees, customers may opt for free “Pick-Up” – you will need to pick-up at Rowanston winery at Glenhope or at a nominated or affiliated property to collect located in Red Hill or Brighton Victoria. We will contact you when your order is available for collection. Please have ID and proof of purchase with you at the collection point.

Rowanston will hold orders in storage for up to 14 days from the date you are notified collection is ready.

Keeping account details up to date

It will always be a member’s responsibility to ensure wine club account details are kept up to date. Information such as email, phone numbers, shipping addresses, credit card numbers and expiry dates, and wine selections are crucial to the success of your club mail-outs.

Rowanston will not be responsible for errors made where the customer has forgotten to update their account details or provided incorrect details.

Rowanston will prompt active members approaching each delivery period via email to check account details and ensure they are up to date. We recommend customers check junk or promotional email regularly to ensure important reminders are not missed.

To request technical assistance with your account or if you are having trouble updating any of your details, please contact the Rowanston wines team directly.

Placing an account on hold

You must request in writing to info@rowanston.com to place your account on hold or if you intend to skip a scheduled club mail-out.

Wine club members may place an account on hold for a maximum of 6 months (or 1 mail-out period per year). Any accounts on hold beyond this timeframe will be automatically closed.

Please note – only active wine club members are entitled to Rowanston discounts. Accounts on hold will forfeit any associated discounts or benefits for the duration of the hold.

Cancelling wine club membership

Membership is valid for a minimum of one year from the joining date. Requests to cancel must be in writing to info@rowanston.com and at least 30 days prior to your next scheduled subscription delivery. Exceptional circumstances may be considered case by case.

Please note – only wine club members are entitled to Rowanston discounts. Cancelling your membership with us will forfeit any associated discounts or benefits.

Switching between wine clubs

To switch between wine clubs email info@rowanston.com and we can help facilitate a smooth transition.

"Two+" wine club terms

"Two+" club members must commit to a minimum subscription purchase of a two bottles pack (up to minimum of 8 bottles per year) on a quarterly basis of Rowanston wine for one calendar year.

The two bottles pack wine are delivered every quarterly from when you sign-up.

You may select your wine selection, and use your special members discount code to check-out for member's discount. You may also choose the "Surprise Me" selection in which we will make a good mix of selection for your order, this can be emailed to us to order. Exchange are not possible once sale is made.

"Two+" wine club discounts

Rowanston reserve the right to refuse a discount if we find that you are not a genuine wine club member, or that your account is not active at time of redeeming a discount. Rowanston reserves the right to request ID at any time and verify your membership status.

As a "Two+" wine club member, you enjoy -

5% off the wines in your subscription. 

5% off any additional Rowanston wines purchased online and in Cellar Door (some exclusions apply). Please let staff know you're a member if purchasing wine in either of our Cellar Doors, so we can activate your discounts and link your purchase to your account.

5% off Rowanston B&B Cottage rates – To redeem this offer, you can make your booking by phoning the us directly, or use the promo code TWOPLUS-STAY when booking online. To qualify for the Wine Club Member Discount for accommodation, you must currently be a member of our Rowanston Wine Club. You must book your reservation under the name used for your Rowanston Wine Club membership. You will be required to present your ID upon your arrival at the Rowanston B&B Cottage or when requested upon. The Wine Club Member Discount is not valid for Public Holidays or Special Event Periods (for example, Melbourne Cup Weekend). Bookings are subject to Rowanston B&B Cottage’s normal booking terms and conditions. 

To redeem the Complimentary Wine Tour or Wine Tasting at our Rowanston property for up to 4 people per year, an advance notice of 30 days is required and subject to availability at the discretion of Rowanston.

Other offers and discounts may be offered to "Two+" members from time to time via Rowanston promotional email or as part of a customer rewards initiative.

Rowanston reserve the right to refuse a discount where we suspect that the cardholder is not a genuine wine club member, or the account is not active at time of redeeming a discount.

 

"Sixes'" wine club terms

"Sixes'" club members must commit to a minimum subscription purchase of 1 case (min.12 bottles) of Rowanston wine each calendar year.

6 bottles delivered twice a year (in May and November).

You may select your wine selection, and use your special members discount code to check-out for member's discount. You may also choose the "Surprise Me" selection in which we will make a good mix of selection for your order, this can be emailed to us to order. Exchange are not possible once sale is made.

"Sixes'" wine club discounts

Rowanston reserve the right to refuse a discount if we find that you are not a genuine wine club member, or that your account is not active at time of redeeming a discount. Rowanston reserves the right to request ID at any time and verify your membership status.

As a "Sixes'" wine club member, you enjoy -

10% off the wines in your subscription.

"Twelves'" wine club terms

"Sixes'" club members must commit to a minimum subscription purchase of 2 cases (min.24 bottles) of Rowanston wine each calendar year.

12 bottles delivered twice a year (in May and November).

You may select your wine selection, and use your special members discount code to check-out for member's discount. You may also choose the "Surprise Me" selection in which we will make a good mix of selection for your order, this can be emailed to us to order. Exchange are not possible once sale is made.

"Twelves'" wine club discounts

Rowanston reserve the right to refuse a discount if we find that you are not a genuine wine club member, or that your account is not active at time of redeeming a discount. Rowanston reserves the right to request ID at any time and verify your membership status.

As a "Twelves'" wine club member, you enjoy -

15% off the wines in your subscription.

You will also be able to redeem a stay 2 nights + 1 night complimentary per year at Rowanston B&B Cottage subject to availability. This stay is not valid for Public Holidays or Special Event Periods (for example, Melbourne Cup Weekend). Bookings are subject to Rowanston B&B Cottage's normal booking terms and conditions.

Other wine club benefits

The following benefits are available to all Rowanston wine club members.

Complimentary wine tasting for you and your partner (or a friend)

If you are staying at a Rowanston property, you are already entitled to a complimentary wine tasting on check-in day.

Outside of these circumstances, this offer is valid for all Rowanston wine club members plus one nominated guest.

If you are part of a larger group, our wine tastings are $5 per additional person.

Invitations to members only events 

Keep an eye on your email for these. They will be exclusive events either for members only, or we will give you early access to tickets for our public special events.

Any bookings you wish to make will be online, or by phone or email. Credit card surcharges and booking fees may apply.

Masterclass discounts 

These could be wine, or food related, and again, keep an eye on your email for these. They do not happen very often, so when they do, if you are keen, we would love to have you on board.
